The Tajima strain of the Kuroge Washu (or Japanese Black) is considered best-of-breed and is where the WinterFrost story begins. We cross these bulls, famous for their intramuscular marbling, with select American cattle to create luxurious beef that is buttery, beefy, and tender, with the healthy characteristics inherent in Wagyu.
